The facility now comprises of 48,000 square feet. A flexible manufacturing production system (TPS) is the heart beat of the facility for all its manufacturing services. Resources will continue to expand to fulfill the growing order book scheduled throughout 2009.

Peter Jarvis, Managing Director, described the continued expansion as "a very exciting development for Contechs, where the company continues to invest in people, facilities and state of the art equipment".

This has allowed Contechs to expand in new emerging markets winning awards along the way. Contechs successes are very much underpinned by lean automotive skills and processes that are applied to new product areas.

Contechs continues to improve quality and delivery disciplines expanding from automotive sectors to marine & rail contracts.
