Possibly the most important customer interface to the vehicle, the ergonomics and master package sets out the dimensional and positioning aspects of the driver's and other occupants' fit and function within the vehicle. Generally considered to be the use of alternative fuels and/or high efficiency power trains, the more immediate effect has been to engineer vehicles using environmentally friendly materials and processes. Also to ensure that the recyclability of materials is made more efficient at end-of-life.
