| The directors of Contechs Consulting Ltd announce that effective from 31 July 2007, Simon Wakefield will be stepping down as Managing Director on the grounds of ill health. |
Simon has suffered from a prolonged period of high blood pressure and he has made his decision on medical advice. The Board of Contechs wish him well.
Simon will no longer have an executive role in Contechs. However, he will retain his shareholding in the company and will remain on the Board of Contechs in a non-executive capacity.
Simon is replaced as Managing Director by Peter Jarvis, who has previously had the role of Engineering Director at Contechs. Ian Brookes remains as Commercial Director.
The directors of Contechs are pleased to announce the appointment of Yogi Carpenter to the Board of Contechs in the role of Business Development Director. Yogi has worked for Contechs for 8 years and the Board of Contechs is delighted that he has accepted this new role.
Contechs remains committed to maintaining its leading role in the provision of design and engineering services to the automotive sector and anticipates continued success in the growth of the business.
