Position:                             Exterior Trim Engineer - Commercial Vehicle

Location:                             Basildon, Essex

Duration:                             12 Months

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Strong exterior trim experience
Ability to develop innovative solutions to design challenges Strong interpersonal skills to coordinate cross functional resolution of issues - Project management, including directing CAD designers - Understanding of stamping and body construction processes –
Managing and understanding of complex bills of materials due to the multiple variants of the the Transit program
Good knowledge of CAE systems and virtual sign-off
Manage cost, weight and timing for component system
Release of components and specifications into AVBOM &WERS - Willingness to work abroad for extended periods during prototype builds (Cologne)and vehicle launch (Turkey)

Skills Preferred:
Interpersonal skills Strong Computer Skills AVBOM, WERS, GPDS CAE Tools knowledge for virtual sign off
